Stepping Stones Cottage

Stepping Stones is a cosy, beautiful, recently renovated Cottage, perfect for 2, set at the foot of An Teallach, one of the most stunning Mountain Ranges in Britain. The soothing sound of the river within a few metres of the Cottage and the utter tranquillity of the surrounding Highland wilderness all combine to give a perfect feeling of serenity and relaxation.

Located in an idyllic highland setting on the NC500 Route, with a private 5 acre natural woodland garden, the original 1850’s stone byre was turned into a bustling and well stocked Gift Shop/Art Gallery and thrived for 35 years. Recently it went through another transformation and was thoughtfully renovated into a heart warming holiday cottage. A few steps away from the Cottage is the bright, new, purpose-built log cabin. With heated tiled floors, this spacious room houses all the utilities along with the main bathroom and walk in shower.

Stepping Stones Cottage truly welcomes you to experience a magical get-away from it all.

Nestled in a walker’s paradise, you will be spoilt by the range of outdoor pursuits, straight from your front door, from strenuous but exhilarating mountain climbs to gentler hillside strolls on well marked paths and perhaps possibly succumb to wild swimming adventures in the crystal-clear river pools; the choice is yours!

Surrounded by spectacular scenery, days out on the road also beckon, where you can seek to travel off the beaten track or just drive for miles in awe of the majestic landscapes.
